In 2003, Agua Vermelha Foundry installed its Machining Sector and today it has a modern infrastructure capable of meeting both its internal demand and the provision of services to practically all sectors.

The FAV is equipped with vertical and horizontal lathes, boring machines, milling cutters, planers, radial and a modern CNC machining center. Not only thinking about equipment but also the final quality of all its products, the FAV has a Quality Department totally focused on inspections before, during and end of each process. As it is called, the Quality Department has a wide range of state-of-the-art instrumentation, where it applies its measurement plan for its instruments, which are strictly controlled by its operators who are constantly training to guarantee the total quality of the FAV.
